My Family Is
My family is an old abandoned house held together only by memories of past
Levi, a preserved rose sitting beautifully in the entrance way.
My dad, a broken beer bottle, dripping with tears from things passed.
My mom, a beaten pillow, sleeping away the horrors of the day.
I am a broken teddy bear, scarred from memories and torn with regret.
My family is an old abandoned house, with broken windows and cracked flooring. This is my family.
