Intertwined with her past
disinterested with her future;
she was more focused on the old photos tacked about her walls
than the camera sitting on the shelf.
Past mistakes repeated themselves
never making room for new ones.
The present was an undeveloped film
sitting in the back of her desk drawer
longing to be discovered.
