A Chapter Ending and a Brand New Beginning

My sister left for college
I didn’t expect to miss her so much,
Until the day was finally here
It’s different at home now,
No siblings to bond with
Almost as if I was an
Only child
I’m happy for her though
She is starting a new chapter
Great things are coming her way
I know she’ll make us proud
Not only is she my sister,
She’s my best friend too
The bond that we share, is truly
Unbreakable

My sister left for college this year and it was a really big transition for my family and I. I hope that people can relate to this poem whether you miss a certain someone or if you're going through the same transition.
