It is a beautiful day
I lift my face to the sky
A smile crosses my lips
And you ask why
I say because the little things
Always will amaze
Like summer, fall, winter, spring
The moon a different phase
How we can all dance and sing no matter
Gender, age or race
How personality is shown within
And not on someone’s face
How we can hear music
Music in the breeze
That dances and spins around
Those swaying willow trees
Music is my life and dreams
It is my life
