Endless Restarts:

Time slips away,
And floats into the sea of life…
Like a tiny leaf.
The days they pass by endlessly,
For me they drag on,
They break my heart…
Because I know that you are gone
And the days are just like restarts for my broken heart,
As each day passes by…
My broken heart shows me what I don’t want to see,
It shows me without you…
It shows that you are gone,
And as each day drags on endlessly…
My heart is stuck on restart,
Playing the same thing…
I wish I could free it,
Free my heart…
From the endlessness of endless restarts.

This poem is about not being able to see someone, not being able to have them, but still having to live life, feeling like you are stuck and like life repeats the pain to you so that you can't forget. Dedicated to Eli.
