The Christmas Conundrum
At last it is the best time of the year
Families preparing decoration
Children celebrating with lots of cheer
Santas prepping to give out donations
The Christmas tree is finally ready
All of the ornaments shining brightly
Santa’s about to come from the chimney
To drink some milk and to munch on cookies.
The sun finally awakes from its rest
Multitudes of presents beneath the tree
Children see the gifts and they can’t resist
When they receive their favorites, they’re in glee
But now they have to wait another year
to experience the holiday cheer

I look forward to Christmas every year, but it always ends so quickly. I was inspired to write this poem to express my feelings.
