I saw you today,
But you're not as I remember.
Your eyes no longer sparkle,
You've changed since last September.
You were so full of life,
Yet now you are so cold.
Your personality has tarnished,
When you once had a heart of gold.
You fell out of my life,
Just like leaves in the fall.
We were so very close,
Now you're not here at all.
You saw me today,
I'm the same as you remember.
My eyes still sparkle,
I've not changed since last September.

This is an amazing poem. I can really relate to this as I'm sure many others can too. Keep writing. You really have a talent :).
I can relate to this. I had a boyfriend, and we were so close. We were sometimes best friends rather than boyfriend and girlfriend. He used to talk to me every chance he got, and his eyes did too sparkle. I broke up with him over the summer (long story). Last year, on my birthday, I was showered with gifts and his presence. This year, I never received a "happy birthday" or even a smile.

Very good sonnet and shows very good emotion.
But technically a sonnet has 10 syllables in each line and has 3 lots of 4 lines then the last stanza is only 2 lines.
Very good though, very well done to you.
