questioning
So how can things once shared end here today?
I never thought the two of us would end.
A love once true now has been thrown away,
And now I’ll hide and simply just pretend,
These tears are only allergies! You see,
I promised that I’d never cry again.
Now once again we are stuck and can’t agree.
All fights like this for us are now mundane.
I start to question if we still belong.
The same old problem tearing us apart.
I always ask myself where things went wrong
Something foolishly ignored from the start.
You said you’d never leave and now you’ve gone.
Nothing to do but dream of days foregone.
