A time of mornings misty with the rain
Where dew crept down the stems so carefully
A time of many nights, all filled with pain
Sometimes, the thought of them brings tears to me

I wanted us to seek happier times.
To move along the road that is my life
But I got lost along that road, for crimes
Would separate me and greaten my strife

But I would always find my way back home
And home would always welcome me with love
So I would be happy again, not roam
To be under a roof, not with the stars above

But all happiness must come to an end
And now all I long for is a good friend

Great poem really enjoyed it, thoughts of times of happiness are needed during harder times in life. Please, feel free to check out some of my work.
