Who Would've Thought?
How can such a beautiful friendship end
Like a wonderful song fading to black
Or like cutting your heartstrings loose to bend
Maybe one day those feelings will come back
If a friendship ends, when can love begin
How about when just a touch turns to gold
Possibly you need a spark from within
All you want is to in their arms grow old
The bliss has ended the sorrow begun
The culmination of your lives is near
It has now finished, its all said and done
Without them you will always live in fear
But truth be told they were your all in all
And yet who knew that you would ever fall
