Alone
My fingers on top the of table
 They look so alone
 The reflection shows pairs entwined
 I'm still flyin' solo
The glass is cold beneath my palm
The spaces between my fingers bare
The wind blows between the gaps
There should be warm fingers there
 Did I discover my destiny
 Sitting here tonight
Is my fate the same as the stars up there
 Shining so very bright
 They seem to sparkle joyfully
But the truth is universally unknown
While amidst innumerable stars up high
 They will always shine alone.
