Just So
Mediocrity swims around me here
Like a shark, no chance of parley today:
All I can do us wait and hope to sway
His thoughts, his acts, make him leave, pray for shear
Luck. Sweat drips down my forehead; I can’t do
This anymore, can’t fight this urge any
Longer. Get up, move, escape the many
Obstacles, get out of this water blue.
I find a boat, leave the isle of the lone
Peoples— I am free; This sentiment holds
New elements. Mediocrity folds
In on itself, drowns in waters prone
To collapse in on themselves. I now know
I am strong, I escaped, I am just so
