The Lost
Why is it when I gaze upon the sun,
The image of her flows into my mind
My heart is heavy, it must weigh a ton
I let her go, but she was a rare find
When the morning breaks, I cry, all alone
For she is never coming back, ever
I call, but she never answers her phone
How long shall I wait? Perhaps forever
Why can’t we just be? For I do not know
But I do know that she will always stay
She will stay in my heart, my love will grow
I know it’s wrong, but it’s the only way
When I wake up my head is in a swirl
But I’ll keep dreaming, I will find my girl
