The Master Plan

Our lives are like intensely burning fires
That must die out on some specific date
Our actions follow our supreme desires
We crave to have a hand in our own fate
For we are masters of our destiny
Who have their eyes set on tomorrow’s dawn
With thoughts anew regarding what could be
You ought to grasp your dreams before they’re gone
When opulence is not established here
Prepare to hold that liability
We shall fore’er remain within the fear
Of not reaching the success we hope to see
But all is well - we need to understand
That each of us is in the master plan.
