Scared Hands
Clearly breathing and now clearly seeing
Feel you near me, hear you sleeping by me
Something in me is quietly smiling
Slowly rising, as if you are my key
Watch your chest rise and fall, slowly in rhythm
When scared hands take one another in tight embrace
Only then will we escape our prison
Listening to each other's heart's quick pace
Pulling each other closer, away from the hurts
Walking through the everyday pain like smoke
Meaning much more, with our innocent flirts
Slowly ignoring the world with each toke
The more I breath you in, the more I see
That I'm made for you, and your made for me
