The Dawn (My Old Swan)
Ever so often you're transcendental
My eyes frequently don't believe the sight.
It tends to be some what detrimental;
Ha! The feeling is worth the risky height.
Shinning in my heart as an untamed fire
Heating, fueling my core to maximum,
Exploding me to always get higher;
One day, my Love, I hope you will fathom.
But all that these are, are shots in the dark
For I fear the spell I had is now gone,
Since I see no signs that you hold my mark.
Yet it's always darkest before the dawn.
And I could not ever give up on hope.
I pray each day that I may be your dope.
