Never love anyone who treats you like you're ordinary -Oscar Wilde

Standing tall, in line with all the others
He’s ready to fight in this war
Ready to defend all his sisters and brothers
Scared of what may happen, ahead lays so much gore
Says his final goodbyes, and off he goes
It’s a long trip, he’s arrived and now he’s set
Weapon drawn, following all the other heroes
Another attack, but not one regret
Many months from home, many friends are lost
Dealing with all the pain, there’s still hope ahead
Their safety is worth all the exhaust
Now that the enemy has fled
He may return with his loved ones
No more bloodshed, no more fighting, no more guns
