I remember a time long ago
Back to the days of pleasure and ease
They shine brighter than this woe
Worries flew away on a cheerful breeze
Those memories like a far away star
Impossible in the shimmering mockery
Their beautiful light stays so far
Never obtained is its sweet melody
My gleeful past is a constant haunt!
A reminder of what is lost to time
My bruised heart feels tired and daunt
Feeling as if life were punishment for crime
Where will I find serenity?
What will be the penalty?

Life is a roller coaster; it will have its ups and downs and twist-arounds. You might be on a lop-da-lop going down, and wishing you were going up. You will. There is a rope for every hole, and a light at the end of every tunnel. Keep looking, keep living, and you will find it.

This poem is so beautiful Renda. Om my gosh, I loved this so much. It left me spechless for a moment. Keep writing just like this. Poor the pain and sadness out like a geyser does water, but don't let take hold of you. I'm proud of you and your talent.

That is so beautiful!!! Nice imagery by the way i loved it. This poem is kind of symbolic especially when you said "Those memories like a far away star * Impossible in the shimmering mockery " I am letterally speechless!! Please keep writing you have a great and unique talent ^_^
