The Girl
I first saw the girl as she sat alone
She looked sad and depressed with her head down
Escaping from her throat was a low grown
Her lips were turned down into a long frown
She dressed in a drab colored gray sweater
Her head hung so low I feared she might fall
I knew I could not make her feel better
Unless I stepped up and answered the call
I went over and asked her, "What is wrong?"
She looked up at me and replied, "Nothing"
I decided to start singing a song
She looked up at me and started to sing
Her lips began to turn into a smile
We began to become friends in a while
