The price
We are trained to give a little to get a little back
A fading world, a twisted logic
We wallow in the sea of lack
Ever so believable and tragic
Evasively, I try to wonder this broken land
weighing my confidence against my pride
when to pray to God for his helping hand
At best, it is worth tested and tried
Tears stream down my humble eyes
What more do I have to give
  Looking at these drowsy skies
I reconcile this tragedy and grieve
Call me, emotionally strange
for my soul and mind, i have already given
For “life” there really is no equivalent exchange
A life spent, a debt paid
