It was a cold, rainy night. The parking lot wasalmost empty, but a few hundred loyal fans still came to seethe Goo Goo Dolls perform. To see one of my favorite bandsperform in concert was a dream come true. Opening for the GooGoo Dolls was Fastball and Sugar Ray. Unfortunately, I missedFastball, but I was able to see Sugar Ray. They played mostlyold songs, but threw in a few new ones. The best part of SugarRay's performance was the stage - it was unbelievable with acolorful Hawaiian theme including a Tiki bar.

When theGoo Goo Dolls took the stage the crowd went wild. They openedwith the old tune "Long Way Down." On tour topromote the "Dizzy Up The Girl" album, they playedevery song from it. My favorite was when they played"Black Balloon;" everyone started throwing blackballoons around.

Almost two hours later, it was time toleave. The Goo Goo Dolls put on the best concert I have everbeen to.
