RIP
To Whomever It May Concern,
Last night I stayed up late trying to talk a boy out of Suicide. I fear he is a fallen angel by now. He was freaking out about things I learned to just ignore all together. I tried to help him and when I had no idea what else to do, I tried to get him to call a helpline. As I went to bed last night I cried. I honestly think he did it. According to my mother I am not properly equipped to talk someone out of Suicide, but let me ask you this: if some stranger comes up to you and tells that they’re going to kill themselves, are you honestly going to tell them you don’t have the proper training to talk them out of it or are you going to do anything and everything in your power to keep them from doing it?
I’m no longer talking about that one boy anymore though; I’m talking to everyone! People reading this and people considering Suicide, please, don’t hurt yourself like that. I know you feel like no one cares or you’re just way too stressed, but would you rather kill yourself in your prime while you're sad, or would you rather see yourself kill those demons and smile at your new life? I sincerely hope you would rather see yourself smiling than dying. To everyone out there, I love you all. I don’t care if you’re tall or short, obese or anorexic, smart or not so smart, boy or girl or anything in between. I love every single one of you and I want you to live and smile at life; especially when things get harder than usual. Promise me you’ll try?
Sincerely,
A Friend

This story is true. I wrote it like a letter and read it like a Spoken Word. Nothing more to say.
