Going to Santa Maria you will feel free. The wind is always blowing cool air. The beach is down the street from most homes; they also have restaurants at every corner. Let's go have a bonfire at the beach, let's go camping on the beach you can go anytime. The seafood is awesome from places like Boiling Crab, Mumbo Gumbo, and Ono Hawaiian Barbeque. Life is always hard and sometimes you need somewhere to go to think to yourself. There's something called the pier where you walk down a long strip of restaurants, bowling alleys, skating rink, movie theater, and many more things and at the end of the strip, there's the beach. Do you like shopping? Well, they have a huge mall full of clothes, food, jewelry, and fun things to do inside. 

         Well, I wish my city was like that. My city is not the best, but it's not the worst. Shooting doesn't happen in my city, sadly I wish that was true. Shootings are something big in my city. Gunshots ranging at night waking you up. You don't have to think about it at night because you will see it on the news. You'll wake up and turn it on channel 5 and there you see it. Gang violence the main cause of every shooting. Gang vs Gang Gun vs Gun something you don't want your city to be known for. TEENAGERS, please don't come thinking you coming to have fun because it's not all that. The mall is alright for shopping for little things but not for the big things you want. Only a little shoe stores and clothing stores you will find so don't come with a lot of money.

Homelessness is a HUGE problem in my city; and if you can't afford a house or apartment yours on the streets. Their use to be homeless shelters everywhere but each one got overcrowded by homeless people. Honestly, I think the city should spend more money on the homeless than the beach. The beach gets most of the money that's why it’s so beautiful and a big tourist place. You see a lot of homeless people with injuries, no clothes, or without food and it hurts to see your city like that.
