2 Annoying Siblings
They are the only ones who annoy me. I am the only one who cannot annoy. Two annoying siblings with loud voices and an echo that fills my ears. Two that I do not want here but they are here. Two babies who have not aged. From my room, I can hear them, and I can’t sleep peacefully for one minute.
Their weakness is a secret. They use loud screeches that claw at my ears. They talk louder and they talk longer and ignore my urge for them to stop This is how they drive me insane.
Let them not be heard, their silence would fill the room like helium in a balloon, each with zipped lips and closed eyes. Keep, keep, keep I say as they sleep. They snore.
When I am too insane and too mad to keep my ears sealed, when the sounds buzz through my brain, then it is I look at the pillow. When there is nothing worth listening to. Two who got louder and I told them to be silent. Two who talk and do not stop talking. Two whose only reason is to talk and talk.
