Free Bird
There are a million fish in the sea.
All apples on an ordinary tree.
Swimming schools, together as one.
But why swim when you were meant to run?

I’m a bird in a world full of fish,
take that how you wish:
with a chocolate malt,
or a grain of salt.

I tried to swim with the crowd,
could I forget about my cloud?
Even if wings are not fins?
Cats and dogs are not Siamese twins.

Time is short, life is weak.
Why waste it in a creek?
I’ll flutter my wings; I’m bound to fly,
Look out sky!
