What do I do if the words won't come?
When I'm trying to explain to you
That your my heart and soul
And that I'm in love.
I try to speak,
Tangled phrases of babble.
I try to write,
Words of emotional nonsense.
My ink is drying
With growing frustration,
A sign of a weak mind
With a swelling center.
I write our names in chalk
And doodle away
With this goes
My mind's sanity.
Thoughts dance by,
As the clock hands race.
I can't speak the words I want
So I've drawn them out.
