Empathy
I've never seen a sunrise, i've never had the time
I sit here day by day and i weave my breathing rhymes
But i've never seen a pianist kiss his sparkling keys
But i feel these things natural, the things that make me breathe
You dont have to paint a picture to know the color of the sky
You dont have to be in love to know the pain of a goodbye
You dont have to see a sunset to know today will end
You dont have to be my sister because you're already my friend
You dont have to hurt yourself to feel the desperation
Dont have to kiss a god to feel the heat, the passion
And i dont have to see a sunrise to know that it is there
My heart is full of empathy, this is why i care...
