Unwanted Reflections
Think, what does your mirror know?
It remembers when you stole your
 mother’s lipstick. It can recall
 every instance your bra strap
left your shoulder. It still can’t
 understand why you have cried
so many time in it’s presence.
Do you forget its there, watching?

It has lived in your bathroom
for years. It has seen you sink
more the ever. Is it the mirror’s
fault? It never meant to show you
 things you never wanted.

 The finger prints still remain
from when you tried to make it lie.
It never meant to hurt you the way it did.
All you can do now it stray away from
 eyes contact. Destroy any trust.
