Waking up
maybe sometimes I picture life perfect
but when I wake up, it shatters in that instant
'cause in this world I live in you're only important
when you fit in
in the beginning you laugh at annoying jokes
by the end you're gone and lost most hope
but me I still see little Ms. Thang
as she struts her way to class; happy even on the rainy days
I want to know her better than I know her now
'cause you loose yourself
when you try to fit in
I don't know why but its just easier
sitting by watching' not really paying attention
'cause that's when you get to see everything you've done
and you feel your soul washing away almost gone
I just want to be me again
but I know I'm just dreaming 'cause
I've woken
