A Lonely Girl
The silence surrounds her,
There's nothing there.
Wishing she wasn't alone,
Emptiness filling the air.
She's wasting her life,
Away in this place,
Reaching out for freedom,
Mostly forgiveness.
But no one can see,
The hurt she tries to show,
No one can see death calls to her soul.
Barely enough force,
To fake that smile.
Barely able to speak...
She'll be gone for awhile.
