This article is going to be about a retired NFL player named Julian Edleman. Julian Edleman went to high school at Woodside High School, and he started college off at The College of San Mateo. After a year with them he switched colleges to Kent State University. He played football for Kent State as a quarterback. Then after that he was drafted in the 7th round as the 232nd pick in the 2009 NFL draft. He was drafted by the Patriots. He was used as a punt returner for a couple seasons and then he got switched to wide receiver. He played with the Patriots for 12 seasons, he retired in 2021.

Julian Edelman had an amazing career, his stats were unbelievable for his journey. He played punt returner and then he got switched to a wide receiver. In his whole career he achieved 620 receptions, 6,822 yards, 36 touchdown receptions, 413 rushing yards with 58 attempts, 4 punt return touchdowns, 1 fumble return touchdown. He also played quarterback a couple times when they did trick plays and stuff and he passed 6 for 6, 128 yards and 1 touchdown. He had an amazing career and helped the Patriots out a lot.

Julian Edelman has done some crazy things like catching that one pass from Tom Brady in the Super Bowl against the falcons. Julian Edelman holds a Super Bowl record for the most punt returns and first half receptions in a single game. Julian Edelman has played in 4 of the 6 games that the Patriots have been to the superbowl. Julian Edelman also helped the patriots win the super bowl against the falcons with the 28-3 comeback. He had a lot of receptions in that game and one big reception that put them into good field position. Tom Brady threw the ball up and Edelman was there with 2 defenders on his back. He dove to catch the ball and juggled it off one defender's foot and secured the catch. That put the Patriots into scoring position to win the superbowl.

This article will be about the one and only retired NFL wide receiver, Randy Moss. Randy Moss was an amazing wide receiver. Throw it up to him in double coverage; he's still catching the ball. No DB was good enough to shut Randy Moss down. At least none that I have seen. Randy Moss has been one of my favorite players that has ever played for the patriots and he's who I got my inspiration from to play wide receiver.

Randy moss was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings as the 21st pick in the first round draft of 1998. He played for a few teams. He played with the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, and the San Francisco 49ers. He played a total of 14 seasons in the NFL and made it to two superbowls. One with the Patriots and one with the 49ers although he never did end up getting a ring. He sat the 2011 season out but signed a one year contract with the 49ers and ended up retiring after the 2012 season with them. He was in 6 probowls in the years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2008.

Randy Moss had unbelievable stats and records for back when he played. He had the most receiving touchdowns in a season (23) in 2007 and he also had the most receiving touchdowns as a rookie (17) in 1998. He was in 4th place for most touchdowns in a career (157). He was 3rd for most receiving yards in a career (15,292) and he was also 3rd for most receiving yards as a rookie (1,313) in 1998. Randy Moss was also tied for most receiving touchdowns in a game against Buffalo on November 18, 2007 with 4 touchdowns in that game. Randy Moss finished his career with 982 receptions for 15,292 yards and 157 touchdowns.

Devin McCourty has always been my favorite safety in the NFL, and he inspired me to be a safety back when I played football for my old school. He is the player that I got my number that I have worn since tee ball and peewee football.  He's got some lockdown coverage in man coverage and zone coverage. You know what they say, defense wins games and McCourty is a big help in winning games and super bowls for the Patriots. He doesn't really get brought up much on tv and stuff like that but he is underrated in my opinion.

Devin McCourty was drafted by the New England Patriots as the 27th overall pick in the first round of the 2010  NFL draft. Devin McCourty has not played for another team than the Patriots and he has been in the league for 14 years. He played on the Patriots with his twin brother Jason McCourty and won the super bowl that year too. Devin McCourty has won 3 super bowls with the Patriots, 2015, 2017, 2019. McCourty is a 2x pro bowl selection from the Patriots.

Devin McCourty has had an amazing career with the Patriots and is still going.  In the 14 years he has played he has been making plays after plays to help the pats win games and super bowls. In his whole career he has managed to make 35 interceptions by himself and 3 whole sacks. Now getting 3 sacks for a safety is actually good because safeties don't usually blitz they usually are staying back in coverage. He's also had 2 touchdowns in his career. He has had many interceptions with the help of other people like reflecting the ball going.

They have all helped the patriots in various ways. Helped win super bowls and games and everything. They all contributed and I wish that Randy Moss and Julian Edleman still played. They were my favorite players since I could watch them play.
