I think that even if you are not christian, you will make it in heaven! How do we know if what the bible says is true? We don't really have a reliable source for that. And just because you are not a follower does not? mean you are not his children. If God truly created us equally, in some way, why would there need to be a reason for going to hell or to heaven? In god's eyes we are his children, and nothing can change that. You shouldn't always trust something you read. I mean how do we know that they are hiding the truth from us with this bible?? How do we know it's not all made up?

I was answering a question on Youtube about this particular topic. It kind of raged me into writing this.

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.

I agree with you 100%! Everyone gets mad at me when I tell them it is hard to take their points seriously when they don't use proper grammar and spelling. This is a literary website and should be treated as such while sharing your opinion.

I personally think that death is a passageway. You go to wherever your soul needs.

that is incorrect. over 200 years before most of the earths inhabitants understood that the world was round the prophet Isaiha correctly called it a circle (in most translations) But it can also be translated "Sphere" (Isaiha 40:22)

When i read the title i thought this article was something entirely different. It made me think a minute. If you don't believe in God why would you say, "OMG"? that doesn't make sense. However if you DO believe in God, why would so show such disrespect to him?

I know it does, but it's the truth. You can put your life on that cuz every word of it is true.

I agree with your position, but your article is very poorly written. You have great points, but you need to organize them better, otherwise people will not take you seriously and this is something that needs to be taken seriously.

Why does there have to be heaven or hell anyway?

My personal belief is that god was created by man, not the other way around. There is no heaven or hell, we just die.

Now, I do understand that there could be an afterlife. I just refuse to believe without any proof.

I live by logic. If you can prove to me without a doubt that God is real, and that your religion is the one true religion, then I am not against believing.

And no, the Bible does NOT count as "proof".

you wan't proof that the bible is real? That Christ himself is real? look around you ..... Christianity is not a religion but a personal relationship with the very person who died so that you might not burn in the very pit of hell you right about. The bible  is simply a history book, and a journal of the people that wrote it. It's full of wonderful stories and accounts, miracles etc. You want proof the bible is truthful? I urge you to go to the local babtist church on sunday and attend their youthgroup. The miracle of Jesus that the bible speaks about is written all over their faces and engraved on their hears. I hope one day that you will join us and see the miracle for yourself and join us in the quest in helping other lost sinners come to christ so they too can go to heaven. Because the bible clearly states that you can not get to heaven simply by being good but by accepting the lord as your personal savior

I think that the bible has a lot of metaphores and parables in it and is taken way too literally. Plus when it explained how earth was made it said that it was held up on a number of pillars (5 6 or 7?).

Your Article Is Actually Very Meaningful. I Like It. And It Makes Sense, Too. I Mean, How Do We If The Bible IS Real? We Don't Know. And We Probably Never Will. And They Said 'Jesus' Died On The Cross. So How Could He Of Said Anything To The People To Write It? It's Just Something Made Up In People's Heads.

And For You Really Christian People? Don't Get Technical With It. I Can't Stand 'Jesus' People Sometimes. Sorry? But My Opinion.

The opening scene to "Saving Private Ryan" was not based on the war, but on a dodgeball game that Chuck Norris played when he was in 3rd grade.

No passage says ver batim that the sun revolves around the earth, but there are passages that state that the earth is the center of the universe (still false) that were reasonably interpreted to mean that everything revolves around it. These false passages are what got Galileo into so much trouble.

If you don't believe in prison and commit a crime, do you not go? If you don't think murder is wrong and you kill someone are you not punished? Of course not. You still committed a crime and still have to pay your punishment for that crime.

If you can say where in the Bible it says the sun revolves around the Earth, it is a mistake. However, I doubt you will find it. I certainly don't remember that passage.

Christianity holds the Bible as almighty truth from God. Regardless of who wrote it.

From that stand-point you would go to Hell because you don't accept Jesus's sacrafice for your sins, and therefore must pay for your opwn punishment.

God is completely just and fair. Of course he's not going to send people to hell when they have not even heard about Christianity. I think God talks about it somewhere in Revelation (I'm not positive where or what it says exactly)... God will be the judge and those who haven't had the chance in this life will have the chance to ask for forgiveness at some point.
